Upload Businesses
Upload a CSV file to add businesses to the valuation engine
Standard CSV Format:
- Required columns:
company_name, city, state
- Optional columns:
industry
- State can be full name (e.g., "California") or abbreviation (e.g., "CA")
- Supported delimiters: comma, semicolon, or tab
- Duplicate businesses (same name + city + state) will be automatically skipped
Apollo CSV Format:
- Automatically extracts: Company Name, Company City, Company State, Industry
- Also keeps: First Name, Last Name, Email for future use
- Filters to US businesses only
- Converts full state names to 2-letter codes automatically
- Normalizes industry names (lowercase, underscores)
- Uses Company location fields (more accurate than contact location)
